All employees working with the child participate in the family work. Building a respectful and confidential relationship of cooperation and interaction begins with the first meeting with a family. The aim of family work is to support the use of the personal resources of the child and family and to foster experiences of involvement. Family work is based on openness and joint discussions. Family work pays particular attention to the effect of different attachment and interactive relationships as well as the effect of possible traumas on the overall situation of the child and his or her family.
The work is based on strengthening a sense of security and connection in the family, both between family members as well as the reform school’s employees. The aim of family work is to foster interactions between the family members as well as to support and strengthen the relationships that increase the child’s trust in the future and support the entire family’s welfare.
“Family work is about the joy of spending time and doing things together!”
