Specialist-level institutional care is intended for children who need multiprofessional, comprehensive and individual education and care to support their growth and development.
ADVANCED-LEVEL INSTITUTIONAL CARE
Strong staffing and small group sizes in advanced-level institutional care enable intensive care and rehabilitation.
The special care units provide comprehensive, fixed-term care and treatment in accordance with sections 71-73 of the Child Welfare Act.
AFTERCARE SERVICES AT REFORM SCHOOLS
The after-care of reform schools supports the young person’s success in life after placement in the reform school either as the young person moves back home or to his or her own apartment.
